When measuring in-cylinder pressure on an I.C. (internal combustion) engine, pressure transducer drift can cause the measured values to be shifted up or down to the incorrect absolute pressure values. The example contains the necessary steps to adjust the pressure level assuming a polytropic process during the early portion of the compression stroke. An example input file containing measured in-cylinder pressure "Cylinder Pressure - CA Based.csv" is attached to illustrate a typical input.
